Gerald Padian specializes in commercial litigation in such areas as trademark infringement, breach of contract, bankruptcy litigation, lender liability, administrative law, healthcare law, film distribution, wholesale distribution, real estate and construction litigation. Mr. Padian was formerly associated with Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he represented many Fortune 500 Companies in such areas as construction litigation, multi-million dollar mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy litigation, internal corporate investigations and lender liability.

Mr. Padian received his law degree in 1988 from Fordham University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in economics from Fordham College in 1985. He was admitted to practice in New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 1988; the New York and U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1989, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second and Third Circuits in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005. Mr. Padian is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Committee on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
