Attorney Profiles

Richard G. Tashjian has specialized in commercial litigation involving a broad range of complex commercial, defamation, bankruptcy, licensing, copyright and trademark litigations throughout his career. He was previously associated with Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he successfully supervised and handled major litigations. He has written numerous articles on significant contract issues in such well known periodicals as The National Law Journal .

Mr. Tashjian received his law degree in 1982 from Fordham University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Queens College with a dual major in accounting and economics. He was admitted to practice in the New York and U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1983,  the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, in 1989 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005. Mr. Tashjian is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association and the Armenian Bar Association.
